Compact and efficient design
Fujifilm GFX 50R is mostly a combination of Fujifilm GFX 50S hardware and Fujifilm X-Pro 2 design. This provides a compact and relatively small mid-size camera that reminds of the popular X-Pro 2 design. Despite its sleek design the GFX 50R is hosted and has an angled display.
The advantage of an intermediate format sensor
The GFX 50R is equipped with a large 43.8x32.9mm sensor of 51.4mp in 4: 3 aspect ratio. With such a high resolution and large sensor, you will not miss any detail, whether you shoot in studio or in natural light, whether you shoot fashion, portrait, landscape or still life. An intermediate format sensor also gives you a high dynamic area in the source, so that all details in both bright and dark parties in the image are recorded. These are critical features for maximizing image quality for finishing options without limitations wherever the image is to be published. The 4: 3 format gives you great opportunities to later crop the images in different formats without losing so much resolution, which is important depending on how and where the images are to be published. Among other things, the 1: 1 ratio gives you a resolution of about 38mp.
Mirrorless with target search style
By using a mirror-free design, the camera housing can be made smaller and smoother, which in turn helps you with handling, both during transportation and during the shooting itself. By displaying the image directly on the display, make sure that the focus is right where it is, even before pressing, and moreover, manual focusing becomes easier. The Fuji GFX 50R uses a target search style built into the camera housing, with the fastest speed of 1/4000 seconds shutter speed. This makes it easier to exploit the low depth of field that an intermediate camera can offer even when the existing light is powerful. Another great advantage with and not using mirrors is that the camera housing becomes quieter, which really is an advantage for wedding photographers who want maximum image quality without interfering too much with the shutter sound. With the electronic shutter on the first seeker or completely electronic, you can get your GFX 50R completely silent and free of internal vibrations.
Fujifilm GF 45mm f / 2.8R WR
Normal lens with Fujifilm GF socket. Nano-GI (Gradient Index). Equivalent to 36mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f / 2.8, and the low weight of only 490g in combination with the lens's compact size makes it great for snapshots, reports and street shots. The lens has an optical design consisting of 11 lens elements in 8 groups, including one aspherical and two pc ED lens elements to minimize distortion and the occurrence of chromatic aberration. Ghost effect and lens irradiation are effectively reduced by the Nanti-GI (Gradient Index) antireflex treatment.
Benefits:
  • Equivalent to 35mm
  • Lockable blender ring
  • weathertight

Fujifilm GF optics are high quality lenses adapted for Fujifilm's GFX system. The lens builds on the legacy of the Fujifilm X series and has a blender ring with a lock button so you do not change from A or C by mistake. C mode on the blender ring allows you to set the blender from the camera's measuring wheel.
